Deleting or voiding an invoice
Delete removes an invoice for good; invoices in QuickBooks are voided instead.
Delete
Any invoice has a Delete button. It removes the invoice and any payments recorded on it, and the client's link stops working. You'll be asked to confirm, and it can't be undone.
Void (QuickBooks invoices)
An invoice you've sent to QuickBooks can't be deleted, so JobBadger and your books stay matched. Use Void instead — it stays on record but no longer counts toward Invoiced or Paid. Void it in QuickBooks too.
Voided invoices are tucked away under Show voided.
Made a mistake on a sent invoice?
Delete it (or void it) and create a new one — it gets the next number.
