Getting paid by card online
Let clients pay their invoice by card from the link — the money goes straight to your bank.
Clients can pay an invoice by card right from the emailed link, and the money goes to your own bank — JobBadger never touches it and takes no cut.
Turn it on
Connect your Stripe account from Settings — a one-time setup where Stripe verifies your business and bank details. Once Stripe says you're ready, a Pay button appears on every invoice you send.
How a client pays
They open their invoice link, tap Pay and enter their card — Apple Pay and Google Pay appear automatically. The charge is on your account, under your business name.
Paid status is automatic
When a card payment clears, the invoice moves to Paid on its own — the amount, the payment record and your Billing totals all update with no manual step. You can still record cash, check or Zelle payments by hand (see Recording payments).
Good to know
- Stripe's processing fee comes out of the payment, like any card processor.
- Card and manual payments can both be used on the same invoices.
